Visit the Mountain View Public Library and get a library card!
The Mountain View Library is located at 585 Franklin Street and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am-6pm and on Sundays from 1-5pm. Anyone (even kids) can get a library card, check out books, and use library services! Apply for a library card here or by visiting in person. Need to speak to someone in Spanish? Ask at the front desk and someone will be able to assist you.
Here are some of the FREE services the Mountain View Library provides:
- Books, CDs, and DVDs that you can borrow and take home.
- Access to online resources, including e-books, streaming movies, music, and audiobooks.
- Use of internet computers and wi-fi.
- Free and discounted museum passes and California State Parks.
- Events and classes, like Virtual ESL classes, Virtual Language Swap, English and Spanish language story times.
